Pure-Whites part 3

the men moved around with little ease. in their hands, i could see a little needle containing our worst nightmare... it was the geostigma... whoever was in for it... well, they were in for it, big time. the first pure-white, a large man with a mustache and beard, walked around cages of fearful half-creatures. he was the one carrying the vile. often, he would pretend to be getting into a cage, just to scare the beast inside. then he would laugh and shut the cage, moving on.
it wasn't until he reached a large cage with a scaly dark green beast did he pick up the needle, an evil grin growing across his humanoid face. then, the thrusted the needle forward, stabbing the creature inside. the scales seemed to recoil and pull towards the needle. they moved like the scales of others, but they were bigger and stronger looking.
the scales twisted around the needle and bent, breaking the matel off and pulling it into themselves. a large paw, or even a tail maybe, lashed out and knocked the pure-white aside.
"hurry! shut the cage!"
the new pure-white bounded forward, slamming the cage shut and locking it.

Stigma

the stigma is a force to be reconned with. It's hard not to let the body fight off a horrible disease-like infestation like the stigma. It cuts down blood cells and eats away oxygen. the pure-whites give it to use, it's thick green/brown color oozing out of the needle, whenever they feel the need to really hurt us. it's an in-cage test to see if our bodies can work around it.
no one had survived...

geostigma

some of these are affected by the geostigama....The stigma... it's a symptom of alien matter infesting the body. When it tries to eliminate it, it overcompensates. Inside our bodies there's a current, like a Lifestream. That current is what fights off any malevolent intruders. i think the pure white some how manufactured it

Pure-White's part 2

the man in white seemed to pass by without a thought about looking into a cage he passed. the second pure-white, however, seemed to want to see everything in this room. what was that human's deal?
a half-creature next to me picked himself up from the bottom of the cage. he had been here longer than i had, and had also been there when they brought the half-creature to my other side in as a young-one. he had been quiet, but once they gave him a shot, he went ballistic and couldn't stay still.
the older half-creature to my right leaned against the cage on my side and watched me for a moment before saying, "a new pure-white." this half-creature had dark brown skin and metallic green eyes. he had spikes protruding from his spine all the way down to his scaly gray tail. his ears were propped at the sides of his head and were pointed and long.
i watched the new pure-white advance to my cage. he watched Ballistic run from him, breathing so hard he looked inflated for good.
the new pure-white stood there, then watched his comrade leave. "what are these things?"
the other pure-white had one simple word; "mutants."

stuck in a cage, part 2

I glanced over at Delta and gave him a weak smile. "nice try." he nodded.
i knew that many creatures down there had nothing to loose and would welcome death with open arms, afraid to fight because then they would only want to die more. they had given up faster than i thought possible. most of us in here didn't even know what the 'outside' looked like!
our sad little world just kept getting sadder.
the pure-white's below were blabbing about paperwork and test subjects, one that had gone away a few days ago and had never returned. i had counted 28 just in the past 3 days. and i had counted 32 new ones in the same amount of time... one of the new ones was to my other side. she was really young, had one wing and half an arm. poor baby...
